It’s March, and that means it’s also National Nutrition Month. (Yes, there will be more than just the college basketball playoffs going on this month!)
Started by the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics, National Nutrition Month focuses attention on the importance of making healthy, balanced food choices and developing sound eating and physical activity habits. This year is the 40th anniversary of National Nutrition Month!
Celebrating National Nutrition Month seems like the perfect opportunity to start a blog, something I’ve always wanted to do, but been a little intimidated of doing. I’ll be posting daily about nutrition topics, health issues, and how awesome Registered Dietitians are!
